Was Out Jamz Right? A Full In-Depth Breakdown of the 2025 All Things Go DC Lineup and What Comes Next
BY LIZ BAUMMER
IT’S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The long awaited DC lineup for All Things Go 2025 just dropped and it’s everything we expected and more. In fact, the Out Jamz team successfully predicted four of the festival headliners… gay recognizes gay I guess ;)
You can find our original predictions in the article here: https://outjamz.com/oped/whos-going-to-be-on-the-all-things-go-2025-lineup but keep reading to see what we predicted right, what we were wrong about, and everything in between!
COURTESY OF ALL THINGS GO
Where we went right
We predicted Lucy Dacus, Clairo, Kesha, and Doechii (shoutout to photographer Holly’s “gut feeling” for the Kesha prediction) which means we had four - or five depending on how you view it… see next paragraph for details - of the seven headliners in our predictions or roughly 57.14% accurate. Even better: all four of the headliners that we predicted are queer women. Having a headlining lineup that is that heavily queer-led and female-led has always been a strong suit of ATG. In a lot of ways, they are one of the only festivals pushing that boundary while many other festivals have maintained mostly straight male headliners. I’ve always maintained that I strongly believe that is one of the reasons ATG has grown so astronomically. They are filling a niche that isn’t currently sufficiently filled, and every year they prove time and time again that fans want to see more queer and female-led festivals.
It is also worth mentioning that Out Jamz also included The Marías in our lineup predictions although they were not one of the artists that we did an in-depth breakdown on. This would bring our headliner prediction success rate to five out of seven or 71.43%. This would also mean that the Out Jamz staff correctly predicted every female headliner on the lineup which is insane to think about. Go Out Jamz staff!!!!
We didn’t just get a large portion of the headliners right… we also correctly predicted some of the other artists that are on the lineup. Maude Latour who was included in our list of who we would like to see play the festival, is on the lineup for Sunday. Also on Sunday is Molly Grace who, if you have seen Out Jamz’s content before, is an artist we have covered extensively. On more than one occasion we have repeatedly emphasized that we thought she would be great addition to this festival. When she was in DC on tour earlier this year, she made a point to say how happy she would be to come back for the festival! Did she know something we didn’t? Or did the universe simply deliver in spectacular fashion? The world may never know.
Where we were wrong
Three of our major lineup predictions didn’t manifest on the 2025 DC lineup (of course the NYC lineup remains to be seen…). First and foremost, our queen Chappell Roan will not be returning to ATG DC this year. I’m still hopeful that one day she will be back but alas this year is not that year. Additionally, Jensen McRae and Rebecca Black are not on the lineup. These two are two major heavy hitters in the queer music scene, and I am again optimistic that we may seem them join the ATG ranks in the future. For DC fans who might still want to catch McRae, she is playing the 9:30 Club on May 4. And for fans that may want to catch Black, her solo stop in DC has passed but she will be back in DC for a DJ Set on May 30/31 for World Pride and she’ll be opening for Katy Perry on the Baltimore tour stop on August 15. Roan will not be returning to DC anytime soon that we are aware, but I’ll definitely be following content from her stops abroad.
We also missed two of the headliners in our predictions. Noah Kahan and Djo are both on the lineup with Kahan playing Friday alongside The Marías and Djo playing alongside Doechii and Kesha on Sunday. Kahan is a staple on festival lineups and as someone who is a massive fan, I am so excited to see him joining ATG. Plus his music so perfectly fits the fall vibes so I can’t wait to hear his music on a breezy Friday evening. Djo on the ATG lineup is something I would have never predicted, but I am certainly not complaining. I love his music, and I think his growing fanbase will love to see him in DC for a festival. Djo is currently on tour with a stop in DC in early May as well. Additionally, Djo is slated to play Lollapalooza and Soundside Music Festival before taking on All Things Go DC. Djo is one busy artist at the moment!
Happy surprises and all the additional tea
There are a number of acts that are on the lineup that may not have been on our predictions list, but we are so excited to see taking the stage at All Things Go:
The Last Dinner Party – I’ve been meaning to catch The Last Dinner Party on tour for years now, and I have unfortunately missed them every single time. I love the high production quality of their sets from the lighting to their incredible outfit choices. I can’t wait to see what they will bring to All Things Go!
Gigi Perez – While I was laying in bed after the initial prediction article went live, I released I had accidentally made a few omissions. To be fair, I think I could have written that article forever considering all the good options available for this lineup. Perez was one of the first artists I realized I had left off which is ironic considering Liam, Out Jamz founder, and I had jokingly argued at length about whether we would see Perez on Out Jamz’s lineup, Soundside’s lineup, or both (hint the correct answer was both!).
Paris Paloma – There are never enough good things to say about Paris Paloma. Every day it feels like her music resonates more and more. With ATG being a female-led festival, it makes total sense that such a strong female voice would be set to perform. I am already emotional just thinking about the entire festival screaming Labour at the top of their lungs.
G Flip - You could never convince me not to love G Flip’s music. Their performance style is so wildly dynamic with the switching between the drums and singing (and sometimes doing both) that I feel out of breath just watching them. They are truly the definition of an elite athlete in my book. Plus, I’m hoping they place their cover of Cruel Summer by Taylor Switch again because something about that performance is just so fun!!!
Zinadelphia – This one was so unexpected to me but feels so incredibly right. If you haven’t had the chance to check out Zinadelphia’s music I would highly recommend doing so now and then catching her set at ATG. Her voice is like pure magic. I had the privilege of photographing her at The Atlantis in DC when she opened for TALK in 2024, and her performance is one of the ones that has really stuck with me over my career.
Lola Young – Lola Young is another artist who the second I finished our initial article I knew I had made a mistake. Young being on the ATG lineup this year makes so much sense. It’s also super interesting given that Young was on the lineup last year. It is so fun to see a tangible, visual sign of her growth by the way the position of her name has changed on the lineup. It’s so much bigger and so much more prominent this year after her continued successes. The observation simply made me smile. Honestly, one of the biggest mistakes I made last year was not getting to cover her set due to time conflicts, and it is my one big regret every time I think about last year’s fest. I won’t be making the same mistake again!
Role Model – Role Model has been taking over the music scene and taking over TikTok. The wild speed at which his success is rising doesn’t appear to be stopping any time soon. His energy and affinity for interacting with the crowd make him the perfect lineup to any festival lineup, and ATG is lucky to have him this year. Sidenote: any predictions on who his Sally might be at this show if the tradition continues?!?!? There’s way too many good options!
Rachel Chinouriri – This is especially exciting as Chinouriri was originally supposed to play All Things Go last year before having to cancel. I know fans were psyched to see her on the lineup this year as many were hoping to see her the year prior. I’ve never had the chance to see her live, so I am particularly excited that she is on the lineup this year. She also clearly got a big DC fanbase with a sold-out show at the 9:30 Club scheduled in May. She truly is a powerhouse and such a good fit for ATG.
Ashe – This is a huge win!!! Especially for Out Jamz founder, Liam, who was hoping particularly hard for this, and I am right there with him. I’ve been a lover of Ashe’s music since 2019 and to see her join a festival I love so much is so exciting. 2025 already has been a significant year for the singer with her comeback album “Willson” and opening for Kelsea Ballerini. ASHE is about to head on tour with Gracie Abrams before heading out on her US headline tour including a sold out stop at the iconic 9:30 Club in DC. I cannot wait for her to take the stage at ATG!!
Griff – I would be lying if I said that this one didn’t make me scream when I read it!!! I don’t know why I didn’t even consider this, but I am so unbelievably happy with Griff being on the lineup. I missed her stop in DC last year (I really need to learn how to be two places at once lol) and have been sad about it ever since. I love Griff’s style of pop music, and the very idea of hearing Vertigo performed live is giving my goosebumps. This is by far one of my favorite unpredicted victories of the 2025 DC lineup!!!!
So what’s next?:
