THE RIONS LIVE AT THE TRIFFID

These boys have just ventured out on their new tour ‘Sweet Cacoon Tour’ for the release of their recent single Sweet Cacoon. The openers for this extraordinary tour were Blusher and Park RD, and boy these two acts know how to get a crowd excited!!! We will definitely be seeing more and more of Blusher and Park RD in the future!! The Rions 9 stop tour graced Brisbane on Friday the 15th of June and they did not disappoint! They started the set with their beloved song Disassociation and closed the night with the extraordinary song Mini Van, and played hit after hit in between including, Scary Movies, Anakin, and Night Light. The band even threw in a stunning cover of Coldplay’s song Adventure of a Lifetime, and boy oh boy it was truly a cover you never wish to miss ! This four piece indie rock band from the northern suburbs of Sydney consists of Noah Blockley who is lead vocals and bass, Asher Mclean and Harley Wilson who both do vocals and guitar, and the final piece of the puzzle that is The Rions is Tom Parington who is on vocals and drums. This band knows how to give and crowd a show of a lifetime and they are going to have a far and wide career! The Rions have just recently announced a joint EU/UK tour with another incredible Aussie indie band Pacific Avenue and will be hitting Europe shores in August and September and I highly recommend checking any of the shows out if you are in the area !!
