On February 23rd, 2024, Ryan Beatty’s vocals created an uproar in the audience at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., with a sold-out performance. His captivating vocals, accompanied by his talented band, mesmerized the crowd with their enchanting beauty and infectious charm. Performing tracks from his acclaimed "Calico" album, Beatty commanded the stage with angelic melodies, earning him resounding cheers from the crowd. As a rising young queer artist in the music industry, Beatty's well-deserved acclaim echoed through the venue, marking a memorable night of talent and triumph.

Ryan captivated the D.C. audience, pouring his soul into each song as they eagerly echoed his lyrics. The room roared with energy as he flawlessly transitioned between "Cinnamon Bread" and "White Teeth," his voice amplified by his microphone. The vibrant synergy of his band was fascinating it was as if they were effortlessly jamming in a studio rather than performing on stage. What truly set them apart was how every instrument contributed to each verse or chorus, creating a harmonious blend. Ryan graciously allowed each member their moment in the spotlight, evoking cheers from the audience.

Halfway through the show, he mentioned that D.C. was one of his favorite stops on his tour so far. “You guys are here with me tonight. I feel so good. We are so happy to be here and to play new songs for you. I can tell it’s gonna be a good night. I think we’re gonna give you joy. I’m ready for the next one [song].”

As the set drew to a close, Ryan exited the stage, while the deafening roar of the crowd prompted him to grace us with not one, but two encores. During his departure, he hinted at his return to Washington D.C. for his next tour, promising new music. Ryan Beatty undoubtedly possesses the gift for delivering a show-stopping performance. The venue overflowed with eager fans, showcasing their adoration for this remarkable, talented young man. From beginning to end, the show was nothing short of spectacular, much like his album, “Calico”.
