PALACE SOLD OUT IN TORONTO
BY ARLIN
British alternative blues-rock band Palace took to the stage after indie folk musician Edwin Raphael beautifully opened the show for a sold out evening at Toronto’s History.
There was an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia, melancholy, and hope as they made their way throughout the setlist with songs including “Goodnight, Farewell”, “Bleach”, “Gravity” and new song “Forever ever after” which we were fortunate enough to hear before its official release! It felt like walking through a hallway of memories, and as I looked around throughout the show it was nothing but smiling faces, waving hands and others that were lost in the music yet intently focused on singing every word. Couples swayed and friends embraced as dreamy lighting filled the venue.
Palace come together to play a beautifully crafted show that I would absolutely recommend to see for yourself. Pick up tickets while you can as they near the end of their North American tour.
