MAUDE LATOUR AT METRO CHICAGO
BY ADI COHEN
As soon as Maude Latour took to the stage in front of a sold out crowd in Chicago, it was clear this show was going to be a party all the way through. The concert kicked off on a high note starting off with the energetic track, “Officially Mine” and showed no signs of slowing down through the opening songs. She never once stopped dancing and jumping from one end of the stage to the next while the crowd sang along to every word.
It was hard to feel anything but happy as she continued moving through the setlist. It spanned her entire discography with throwbacks like “Superfruit” and newer tracks from her latest album like “Too Slow.” She even played an unreleased track leaving everyone wanting to hear more of what is to come.
As the night continued, she never slowed down and neither did the crowd. The energy was infectious in the room with everyone singing along to the songs, dancing, and creating this incredible energy in the room. It truly felt like a safe space to just dance and sing and let go for the night.
With so much going on in the world right now, the Sugar Water Tour is the perfect escape from it all. If you’re looking for that kind of experience, or just want an excuse to dance, don’t miss out and make sure to get tickets today.
