AIDAN BISSETT CLOSES OUT SUPERNOVA TOUR IN FORT LAUDERDALE

BY ADI COHEN

The final night of the Supernova Tour kicked off with an electric performance from Casey Baer. Her vocals were incredible and her set even featured an impressive cover of Taylor Swift’s “Cruel Summer.” Ultimately leaving the crowd buzzing with anticipation just in time for Aidan Bissett to take the stage.

Bissett opened up with high energy tracks “Worst Girls of All Time” and “All That I’m Craving” to get the crowd going. Overall, he did an incredible job with curating the setlist for the tour, the way the energy flowed and stayed consistent even when he played slower songs was a treat to see. It helped that the crowd seemed to know every word and were very engaged throughout.

One of the highlights of the night came halfway through the set when Bissett played “A Song for Her.” He came down into the crowd, and had everyone huddle around him and sing the chorus of the track together. The Culture Room is a very intimate venue to begin with, but this moment just amplified that feeling even more.

While the Supernova Tour has unfortunately come to an end, I highly recommend heading to Aidan Bissett’s show whenever he goes on tour next.
