It’s Almost Here! ATG 2025 is Right Around the Corner!!!
BY LIZ BAUMMER
It’s wild to think we are mere days away from the best weekend of the year. It simultaneously feels like it snuck on me and like it’s been months and months of preparation (which is has… 5 months of writing to be exact lol, and I wouldn’t have it any other way).
It’s no secret that I, along with all of Out Jamz, love All Things Go. So far this year we’ve written about everything from what to put in your bag to what to do at Merriweather Post Pavilion. We correctly predicted 5 out of the 7 headliners on the ATG DC lineup (don’t worry we already have plenty of predictions for next year’s lineup too ;) ). We’ve covered the Toronto expansion, the new Amazon livestream, and the ATG Compilation benefiting the Ally Coalition. Nine (!!!!!) articles later, and it feels perfectly fitting that the festival is now right around the corner. And it feels like fate that lucky article number 10 will round out the end of our pre-festival era :)
I figured to tie our pre-festival coverage up with a bow, I’d take a different approach. I’ve already given you MY must-see moments and MY favorite artists. You’ve heard MY two cents on everything from the must-see sets to the must have bag essentials. So instead, for this one last moment before we’re all together at Merriweather, I turned to some of the people I trust most - my colleagues and dear friends at Out Jamz. Nobody knows music better than them. Many of them have covered artists on the lineup before, and they have lots of opinions so why not share them! I polled our Out Jamz chat on exactly what songs by the lineup artists you should be adding to your playlists in the days leading up to the festival. Maybe even for jamming on the way to the festival this weekend? Check out our ideal playlist below:
Lucy Dacus – Back to Richmond, Ankles
Maude Latour – Superfruit, One More Weekend, Summer of Love
Kesha – Attention, TikTok, Delusional
Doechii – Nissan Ultima, Anxiety
Lola Young – Messy
Molly Grace – Do Me, Little Bit of Hell – Live In New York
The Beaches – Edge of the Earth, Blame Brett
Rachel Chinouriri – All I ever Asked
G Flip – Worst Person Alive
Wild Rivers – I Do
The Marías - Heavy
The Last Dinner Party – Nothing Matters
Joy Oladokun – Jesus and John Wayne
Gigi Perez – Sailor Song
Paris Paloma – labour
Ashe – Till Forever Falls Apart
Peach PRC – Like A Girl Does
I’d say that list is a beautiful mixture of older staple songs and new hits. The Out Jamz staff has great taste in music if I do say so myself…
Now that you’ve got some tunes for your drive to the festival, make sure to check out the set times for ATG on the website here https://allthingsgofestival.com/dmv/set-times/
