ATG Does It Again with a Showstopping DC Lineup

BY LIZ BAUMMER

The wait is finally over! After a week of teasing, and two surprise announcements, All Things Go has officially released the DC lineup for 2026; and it is everything we could have hoped for and more. Continue reading below for a day by day breakdown of the lineup including who’s new and who’s returning to ATG after previous appearances at the festival.

Day 1: Friday

Mitski - Mitski was announced as one of the Friday headliners via a surprise announcement on the ATG social media pages on Friday morning, and the response was EPIC. The comments were filled with people asking for the presale sign up link (check the end of this article for details on that ;) ). Mitski is returning to ATG for the first time since headlining the festival in 2022, the festival’s second year at Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Ethel Cain - Ethel Cain also marks another return artist for ATG. She played in 2023 (Sunday in DC) and 2024 (Saturday in DC, Sunday in NYC). After not being on the lineup for any of the three festivals in 2025, this marks Ethel Cain’s triumphant return to a festival that loves her dearly. Will we see her on the NYC lineup as well? I would predict yes, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise - This will be Rainbow Kitten Surprise’s first time on the ATG lineup, and they are a perfect fit. I have captured them before on their tour last year when they played The Chrysalis stage for their opening night. I am hoping they will once again play The Chrysalis, aka my favorite green blob in the woods, at ATG this year. Out of all the artists I have seen play The Chrysalis, they are a top contender for best fitting the unique vibes of that stage.

Magdalena Bay - WOOOOOOO! I am so excited about this development. I am also hoping Magdalena Bay may play The Chrysalis this fall. Their wacky, colorful visuals perfectly fit the vibe of that stage as well. I got to photograph them in DC last year when they sold out The Anthem, and I know for a fact that their incredibly passionate fanbase is going to be happy to have them back in the DMV.

Slayyyter - This is one of my biggest fumbles in my predictions. Like how did I not think of this?!?!?! After I shared my initial list, I had so many people message me to say that they thought I should add Slayyyter to the list, and they were all correct! With her incredibly consistent rise to fame, it’s no surprise that she’s on the bill for ATG DC… apparently, I was literally the only one that didn’t see it coming (I promise I’m good at my job most of the time lol)

Robby Hoffman - For the first time that I am aware, ATG has added a comedian to the lineup, and I! AM! PSYCHED! I think Robby Hoffman is hilarious. This will be an adventure into new territory, and I am really excited to see if this is a trend that ATG continues to build upon in the future.

Balu Brigada - I love Balu Brigada’s unique sound. Their pop rock, electronic-esce dance vibes are set to be the soundtrack to my summer. Everything about their music sounds like the soundtrack to a really good coming-of-age movie. I also think their songs would be great backing music for an ATG recap video… just saying…

Ninajirachi - Ninajirachi was actually one of the first artists a friend of mine messaged me about after seeing the lineup announcement. I have a strong feeling that thus will be a fan-favorite set at this year’s festival. I also love that we are seeing some more edm-esce dance music on this year’s lineup. I love the variety!

Rico Nasty - One day I want to be as cool as Rico Nasty. She’s a dynamic performer who has such an incredible wide range of musical abilities. She bends the lines between genres, and her artistry knows no limits. Her style blends rock, pop, and rap to create a truly unique performance and sound. If she’s that good in her recordings, I can’t believe how much hearing her live is going to take her music to a whole new level.

SYML - Another first timer at ATG, SYML makes my favorite type of music. I want to be driving down a tree-lined road on a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest which makes total sense because he’s from Seattle. With ATG being a fall festival, I am excited to hear his music with the slight breeze of a Maryland autumn.

Wes Parker - Wes Parker is a DC-adjacent “local”. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia (about 4-5 hours south of the festival) this could be considered his home festival. I love that he’s from so close by. I love how you can practically “feel” all the instruments in his songs (don’t know if that makes sense to anyone else, but it makes sense to me). His sound is also a style that I think fits perfectly in Maryland fall.

Day 2: Saturday

Hayley Williams - Out Jamz successfully predicted this incredible announcement which came out last Thursday via the ATG social media channels. Fans also seemed to predict this, whether they realized it or not, when the tease for the surprise announcement was full of fans begging for Hayley Williams. This will be the first time she graces the ATG stage, and to say fans are over the moon would be an understatement.

Muna - Another one of the most requested artists for this year’s lineup was Muna. This comes as absolutely no surprise considering how absolutely loved they are by the ATG community especially with their repeat appearances in years past. They played ATG NYC in 2024 as well as filling in unexpectedly for Chappell Roan in ATG DC that same year. They also played ATG DC in 2023 and way back in 2019 (anyone else find it hard to believe that was almost 7 years ago… I think I’m getting old lol)

Zara Larsson - ONE OF MY TOP PREDICTIONS HAS COME TRUE THANK GOODNESS!!!! Zara Larsson was the one artist I was most confident would be on this lineup, and I am jumping for joy. I think the incredible happiness and vibes she brings to her set are going to be so beautiful on stage at ATG. I’ve had the honor of capturing her live once, at The Anthem in DC earlier this year, and that show had some of the best vibes I have ever experienced.

Suki Waterhouse - Another incredible return to ATG this year is Suki Waterhouse. She actually played ATG for the first time in 2023, the first year I ever attended (as a fan, not as press). I’ve long said that it was time for her to come back, and this year she has returned! This will definitely be one of the sets I am most excited for this year.

Del Water Gap - One thing about me, I will always be over the moon about a Del Water Gap set. I have had the opportunity to photograph him several times, and every time has been incredible. I love his sets so much, and the fans agree. He always has a very passionate crowd of people who care deeply about him, his music, and each other. The community and lore (#horsewithbowlcut) he has fostered in his music are incredible. He’s also an ATG veteran with appearances in this year’s Toronto lineup, ATG 2024 in DC and NYC, and ATG 2021 in DC.

She & Him - I love indie folk, vintage pop music. I am so excited at the possibility of hearing I Thought I Saw Your Face Today live. I can practically picture it on The Chrysalis stage surrounded by the trees with the sunlight flooding down the hill. The mental image alone gives me chills. I’m so excited to see what their performance brings to the festival.

The Beaches - The Beaches are back too! Talk about another well-loved ATG veteran. I am so happy to see The Beaches returning this year! They have some of the best energy, and my friend who went last year in DC said they were one of the standout artists of the whole festival. They’re also on the 2026 ATG Toronto lineup and have previously played ATG 2025 in DC.

The Beths - Any artist that has such colorful album art automatically makes me excited to listen to their music. ATG as a festival embodies happiness and The Beths music upbeat music hits that nail on the head (even if all their songs are not 100% happy because let’s be honest, who’s art?!?!)

Rebecca Black - I am so excited about this! Honestly I am really surprised it has taken us this long to see a Rebecca Black x ATG crossover. I think Rebecca Black brings the perfect high energy music and fun vibes to the festival. When she performed at the 9:30 Club in DC last year, the venue (which holds roughly 1,200 people) felt like an endless arena. I am looking forward to seeing what production elements she brings to the festival this year!

Naïka - Naïka’s voice is one of the most stunning I have ever heard. It is truly, absolutely beautiful. You can hear the influence of her Haitian roots in her songs as well as her global upbringing. I am just now discovering her from this lineup, but by the time we get to the festival I will be an expert in her music because I am already blown away.

Hemlocke Springs - Hemlocke Springs is another ATG veteran returning to the festival this year. She played at AG DC in 2023, and one of my biggest regrets looking back on that year was that I missed her set. I love her music, and I am looking forward to having another opportunity to catch her in action at this year’s festival.

Haute & Freddy - Haute & Freddy is also a new band I was not familiar with before this lineup. But given a quick research session, I already know they are going to rock ATG this year. I love their theatrical aesthetic, and how much fun their music is. They are perfect for ATG!

Grace Ives - I love when artists blend the lines between genres, and that is part of the reason I love the techno-esce roots of some of Grace Ives songs so much. Her soft voice mixed with incredible instrumentals and production really make for unique songs that are going to translate so well to the ATG stage.

Zolita - Zolita is another artist that I am so mad at myself for missing in my predictions. Her sets are so much fun. My personal favorites are her sapphic editions of That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain (some fun Liz Lore… Shania Twain was my imaginary friend when I was really little because I had a singular CD of hers that I was obsessed with lol). And honestly, that is the exact energy we need at All Things Go!

Love Spells - Love Spells is another artist whose music I can just feel. It sounds ethereal. I can already picture myself laying in the grass on the hill at ATG with the sun on my face during his set (which I won’t be doing because I will be working, but I hope somebody will be because I think it will be the optimal festival experience). This is the epitome of music that I feel like is best enjoyed on a sunny day outside.

Susannah Joffe - Susannah Joffe is another artist I am so glad to have discovered through the ATG lineup. Her indie rock music is very reminiscent of some of the greatest acts we have ever seen at ATG. I think she not only fits in perfectly, but I think she’s an artist fans should be paying attention to as I have a strong feeling she’ll be back and climbing up the ATG bill in no time.

Glom - Glom’s music makes me want to dance which is what every festival should be all about. I can already see the fans enjoying the sunshine while spinning each other around. I love music that feels like it is made for community, and that is exactly what this feels like.

Kevin Atwater - More perfect fall music!!!! A lot of his tracks lean heavy into a soft guitar sound that matches perfectly with his voice. Very indie pop music, his tracks display an emotional vulnerability that is both beautiful and heartwrenching all at once. His music chronicles queer love in a way that is vulnerable, intimate, and unabashedly honest. He’ll be perfect onstage at ATG.

Day 3: Sunday

Brandi Carlile - TALK ABOUT AN ICON OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! THIS IS AMAZING!! I mean I don’t even know what to say because this is the one and only Brandi Carlile we are talking about. She needs literally no introduction at all whatsoever, and nothing I could possibly say would be enough to do both her artistic impact and her impact for the queer community justice. There is truly no one better to grace the All Things Go stage than her.

Lola Young - This is, to me, one of the biggest triumphs of ATG 2026. Last year, after suffering a health incident in ATG NYC on Saturday, Lola Young was unable to perform in DC on Sunday, and also elected to take some time away from the spotlight. Health should always come first, and I’m so happy that she has taken the time that she needs. I know she will be back better than ever, and I’m glad she gets her return moment this year. She also previously played ATG DC in 2024.

Sienna Spiro - Sienna Spiro’s soulful anthems are emotion inducing when just listening on streaming. I cannot even begin to imagine how emotionally wrecked I am going to be hearing her live. You can tell her heart and soul are translating through every single word she sings, and it is so powerful. I don’t think there will be a dry eye in the venue when she is on stage.

Father John Misty - I stand by my belief that big, open amphitheatres are the best place to experience the kind of music Father John Misty makes. As someone who has already captured both Noah Kahan and Lord Huron at Merriweather Post Pavilion, I cannot wait for Father John Misty to also be on that list. It feels a bit like I’ve hit the trifecta lol.

Tinashe - It has been a hot minute since I’ve gotten to see Tinashe live, and this is once again a prediction that I feel like I should have nailed. Tinashe is literally perfect for ATG. When I photographed her in 2024, her crowd fit the exact vibe of what I now come to associate with ATG.

Flipturn - Flipturn returns! Their set was a big hit in 2024 in DC, and I am excited to see that we’ll get round 2 at this year’s festival. They’ve grown quite a bit since then, and I am excited to see what their set will look like now two years later.

Wolf Alice - This will be Wolf Alice’s first All Things Go appearance. They are also an artist that I have been meaning to catch for literal years. I think they fit perfectly into the ATG universe, and I have seen many fans mention wanting them on the lineup in the comments of various social media posts. I’m sure fans are absolutely delighted by this edition.

CMAT - CMAT is another artist on this lineup that I am particularly excited to see. I have recently discovered her music (I know, I know, I’m late to the game… I’m not great at discovering new artists. It’s one of my character flaws), but every photo and video I have seen of her performances has been so exciting and fun. I love her energy, and I will be doing plenty of listening to her music in the lead up to the festival!

Jensen McRae - Jensen McRae is returning to ATG after playing in DC in 2023. I have been trying for years to catch her when she has been through DC; however, by some cruel twist of fate, I miss her every! single! time! I’m excited to finally catch her this year, and I know the fans are excited for her return too. Every time she plays in DC, the fans show up and show out by selling out venues and queueing early to get the perfect viewing spot.

Ryan Beatty - I truly love that ATG can do a little bit of everything. Ryan Beatty, at least the last time I photographed him, had an incredibly intimate and slowed down vibes. And I think that’s part of what makes ATG so special is because I still think he fits perfectly in this lineup. Get you a festival that can do both my people!

Stella Lefty - I AM SO EXCITED TO HEAR BOSTON LIVE, AND I SWEAR I MAY NEVER RECOVER AFTERWARDS!!! All of Stella Lefty’s music is just so goooooooooood. I am so excited to have her on the lineup (clearly based on the first line lol). I think we’re also just now seeing the beginning of her rise to fame, and ATG fans are going to be lucky to see her before she’s selling out arenas. I’m calling it now!

Rochelle Jordan - Rochelle Jordan is another new artist I am discovering because of this lineup that I know is going to be a new favorite of mine. By the time she takes the stage at ATG, I am going to be an expert in her music. I love how versatile her music is. She does so many things, and she does them all perfectly. I think there truly is something for everyone in her discography. There are definitely ATG fans that are going to be leaving with a new favorite artist.

Tiny Habits - The first song I ever heard by Tiny Habits reminded me of ABBA (Right In Front Of Me), and from that moment on I knew I was going to love them. Now not all of their songs are like that, but the thing is all of their songs are great! They cross and blend genres while being successful with every choice they make. That’s a really special skill to have!

Trousdale - I am already in love with Trousdale’s music, and I’ve only heard a select few songs while putting together this breakdown. I cannot turn them off. They are going to be absolutely huge, and I think the aTF fans are going to fall in love with them. They feel like the living, visual embodiment of the ATG atmosphere. Fun fact, earlier this year they performed alongside Maren Morris, who headlined ATG in 2024, at High Water Festival… I’d say it’s fate that they’re headed to ATG DC : )

Violet Grohl - Violet Grohl brings edge to All Things Go which is something that we don’t see with every artist. I have always believed that one of ATG’s biggest strengths is the versatility that the lineup brings to the festival. I love how guitar heavy a lot of Violet Grohl’s music is, and I am 1000% sure her performance on stage at ATG is going to be dynamic. I can already envision the dancing at the barricade!

Natalie Jinju - Natalie Jinju’s dancey pop music makes me want to find a friend and spin them around on the dance floor. There will absolutely be dancing in the pit for this set. Natalie Jinju is another artist that I think is on the verge of being huge, and ATG fans in the years to come are going to say they got to see her perform before she became a headliner.

googly eyes - I have been hoping we would see googly eyes on an ATG lineup soon. With her involvement in the ATG Charity Compilation benefiting The Ally Coalition last year, I wrote that I thought we might see her on this year’s lineup back before the 2025 festival. If I do have any sort of magical predictive abilities, I swear it only works on All Things Go lol

Jake Minch - Guitar! Guitar! Guitar! I looooooooooooove songs with beautiful guitar accompaniment so much. Jake Minch’s songs have a stripped back, authenticity that you can feel in your bones. While not all of his music is solely acoustic, his overall vibe very much falls in that vein or adjacent to it. I’m really excited to see how that intimate calmness is going to translate to the ATG stage. I’m sure it will be great!

And that is your breakdown of all 47 (!!!!!!!!!!!) artists on this year’s lineup. To make the long story short, this lineup is incredible. I love that ATG has always stuck to its roots and mission of highlighting women and queer artists. However, I must also say that I love that ATG has included more artists of color on this year’s lineup. Intersectionality is so important, and I think it is important that the festival lineup this year includes more artists of color and especially more queer artists of color.

There’s also a healthy mix of returning, well-loved All Things Go veterans and artists who are just now joining the ATG universe. I truly feel that every year the lineup is crafted with such care and consideration by the ATG team. You can tell they love the festival as much as the fans do, and every year they succeed in creating something truly special for everyone. They deserve all the flowers and praise and then some (claps for the book team!!!!!).

With the lineup out and things heating up, fans will want to sign up for presale here: https://allthingsgofestival.com/dmv/

Presale begins Wednesday, May 6 at 10am and is the best chance to get the best tickets at the best price. Once the lineup is live, more info on tickets types and pricing will be available on the site.
