The Kid Laroi rocks the Gold Coast on a rainy night
By Mackenzie Treloar
On Monday the 11th of November the Aussie born sensation The Kid Laroi kicked off his Australian tour on the usually sunny stunning Gold Coast at HOTA ! I must applaud The Kid Laroi and his team and everyone working at the venue as due to the weather forecast of a massive storm brewing they decided to bring the show early and have him come on at 7pm for his 1 hour and 15 minute set with only light rain during his set. I am glad to see crowd safety was a big decider in this and hope everyone made it safely home in the storm after the show! The Kid Laroi carries possibly one of the best stage presences of someone in his age range, constantly moving around the stage, interacting with fans and making sure everyone feels seen, heard and having a good time! One lucky fan, who went by the name Nash, even got brought up on stage to perform with The Kid Laroi after saying he could play his song Bleed on guitar! They did an acoustic performance of this song and the crowd absolutely LOVED every single second of it ! The crowd was a sea of lights during his song Without You with the whole crowd swaying and singing their hearts out! Oh and of course the crowd went absolutely wild during possibly his two biggest songs, Stay and GO. This show was an all round phenomenal performance and I am very excited to see what the rest of this tour has to offer! I hope the Gold Coast offered The Kid Laroi a huge warm welcome back to performing on Australian shores and we hope to see him back soon !!!
